Sr. Regent Message
I would like to thank my Board of Officers who went above and beyond
as usual, in putting on our Annual Children’s Halloween Party.  This
party was a lot of fun, and all the children enjoyed themselves.  They
enjoyed decorating their pumpkins, playing musical chairs and let’s not
forget the piñata!  A special thank you goes out to Co-Worker Donna
Jackson for volunteering her time to assist us with the food at the party.
Also it was so exciting to see all our Moose members who came out
and supported our Lodge at our Adult Halloween Party!  I would like to
thank my Board of Officers and Co-worker Patty Wynn for all their hard
work for chairing the Halloween Party.

On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at 7 O’clock in the evening that
Mint Canyon Women of the Moose Chapter No. 1533 will host a
College of Regents “Red Tassel Ceremony “ for Ann Azevedo.  Special
Guest Speaker: Past Deputy Grand Regent Cheryl Volden.   Men and
Women of Higher Degree are requested to wear their Regalia. This
ceremony is open to all Women of the Moose and Men of the Moose
members.   The " College of Regents" is the highest honor in the
respective Chapters.  Eligibility for the College of Regents is limited to a
co-worker who completed the requirements for the Green Cap as
Senior Regent.  Tassel colors on the hats change with advancement
through the College of Regents and/or International Appointments
along with the addition of stoles. The first being a green tassel.  To
even be considered for this honor many achievements must be met and
takes many years of dedication and hard work.  Good job Ann!  We
hope to see you for this event.

The WOTM Board of Officers will hold our Annual Children’s Christmas
Party during the month of December.  There will be a sign up sheet
(put up the last week of November) in the Social Quarters so that you
can sign up your children.  If you have children or grandchildren please
bring them to our Children’s Christmas party; Santa Claus will be
handing out the Holiday present to your child and there will be lunch
(hot dogs, chips, cookies and punch).  We look forward to seeing you
all there.

I would also like to take this time to invite old and new Co-Workers alike
to attend our meetings the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 6:
30 p.m.  We have some great times and you will be surprised at all of
the fun you can have and people you will get to know and discuss ways
to advance the Chapter goals for the year, so please come out and join
us.

Yours in “Faith”, “Hope” and “Charity”
Sr. Regent Heather Beller
